Does anyone have suggestions for a beginner on the organ as far as recommending a good lesson book?  I just got an old organ for my kids and I to learn on, but I don't know many good lesson books.

How much of a beginner are you? Have you played any instrument before? How long? Do you know any theory? All of these would play a part in giving you information taylored to your learning ability.

If you're a complete beginner, then this site is just as good as any. You can also try searching on the net for piano lessons online (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=piano+lessons+online)

Hope this helps....

BAH @ chord books

I believe that once you learn the number system and how to apply that to chords, a chord book is useless, but to each his own.
