The leslie at our church barely gets loud enough to hear. Me and the organist have messed with it and it still acts funny. It also buzzes while it is being played. Does anyone know about organs? Could it be the speaker or the organ or the organ cord? I have no experience with organ repair/maintenance.
Thanks,
west

Try new tubes.

You're right, Sweetdaddyjr ... The buzzing is most likely caused by the tubes. Remeber that you miust swap the tubes in pairs. They run about $100 per pair .... :-)

Hammonds and leslies are very old. Virtualy indestrutable though. Need oil and new tubes every now and then. Try Ebay for a good price on tubes and Hammond oil. I get mine there.

the bass speaker is going in your cabinet, the tubes are probably burnt and the horn is more than likely goin 2

I have no idea what model it is... it is very old our church has had it for more than 20 years. You can barely see the "Leslie" printed on it. In regard to your other question my church is located on the west side of Chicago.
