What are the standard settings when playing praise and worship songs on Hammond B-3?
-
For me, it depends on the song. I usually do something similar to 008888000 though...because I play low.

B3Wannabe is right when he says it depends on the song.
My standard set-ups are:
888000000
888000001
888888888
no percussion/C3 on the scanner
for ballads I will bring white brawbars into the voice
but in general, I tend to think of the "shape" and just move them until I like the sound.
-
Whenever I get on, I usually pull to 848400000.
That's a nice soft sound for soft songs.
838000000 is good as well.
