Does anybody need a brand new bass rig for your church or for your own personal use? Are you ready to upgrade your equipment with some Brand new High end High Quality Professional gear that you can't get in your normal music store. Or If you do I can help you out. I have a the following Warwick amp and speaker cabinet:
WARWICK TUBEPATH 10.1- 1000 watt bass amp.

B3- If people want high quality proffesional equipment it usually isn't going to be cheap. When it comes to gear you get what you pay for. $1200 is cheap and a great deal for this brand new amp compared to the $1800 price tag the amp normally goes for at a store.
tak- This amp would be a great upgrade to any church. Right now is the best time to jump on this great deal. You will probably never see thisbrand new amp priced this low again. even if you were to get it used it wouldn't be this cheap. Talk to your folks at your church and let them know that there is a great product at a great price available.
MikeGee- Yes. It is always best to have more watts from an amp then a cab can handle. If not, your amp will be underpowered and could get damaged.

I live in the los angeles area.
I'm not part of a "church." I always get in trouble becuase I have a mind of my own and don't fit a particular profile, i hate the hipocrisy and politics or should I say Politricks, the racism gets old, i can't stand how church leaders, pastors, who use gods name in blasphemous ways to manipulate people into doing whatever their agenda is at the moment, and it gets a little old when they try extorting money from you. So the churches always throw me out in the street like the good christians they are. It's just a little difficult finding a church that actually walks the walk and leads by doing and following jesus's teachings instead of just talking about them and doing the oppisite.
BUT!!!!!! I love the music and love playing so i've learned to deal with all this nonsense.

I don't want to stray off-topic of this post, but I want to encourage you. I know how you feel, as do a lot of Christians. It's just that some people forget. Please don't hold this against all Christians. There is good and bad everywhere, and church isn't an exempt. You'll find the same problems in church as you will outside.

Amen Brotha... I would go on to say, that due to a resent test that God took me through, I had to understand that he only hold me accountable for the things I keep in my heart. Proverbs 6 says to guard your heart with all diligence. It sounds as if these leaders/people have hurt or offended you in some way. If that is the case i would try to meet with them to discuss the issue that healing make take place. Often times leaders are so focused on the vision that God has given them, they are in the workings of the details. It's commonly misunderstood by Christians that we shouldn't be hurt or offended by brothers and sisters, but I believe by the example that we have in Jesus Christ that it's the exact opposite, that we if anyone should be able to bare the hurts because of who we represent and still come out looking like Jesus. I'm in agreement with B3 and encourage you to return to your first love which is Jesus. Keep your eyes on him. See... people can hurt you, yet they can repent and you never know it, in the mean time, you hold on to the offense and be in bondage. It's not worth it! How about we do this:

AND I ASK DECREE HEALING IN HIS HEART

I tried ebay with no succes. It's a pretty new product so people don't know much about it and are less inclined to buy it.

Well if some of the replies are being deleted there must be a reason, and it would be nice if the person deleting them would be kind enough to explain why.
I'm guessing because the post strayed off topic a little. But then again what post doesn't do that? And i'm pretty sure I didn't say anything offensive.

Well maybe because the discusion was becoming a little to thought provoking. Thats the last thing people in control/power want, for people to think for themselves. It's bad news, bad business and terrible for the people in control who want to enslave your minds. They never want to lose that type of control. And for those who read my previous post regarding how the bible is a history book, and how history can be altered by those in control/power have witnessed a small example of how this can be done in regards to this post. THe simple deletion of some of the post on this topic is the way history becomes altered by those in control/power a.k.a "The Man."

Well i didn't think I was comparing anything. I was trying to be objective by stating that once "man" gets a hold of something, even if it is the word of god, we as humans screw it up in one form of the other. We screw up everything. We screw up what god commands and wants for us, we screw up his word and teachings. Whenever "man" was given the word by god we have tried to control it and manipulate it for our own personal usage and conveniece. It's a historical fact, the bible is based on examples of "man" screwing up and tainting gods word by there actions. This is why god sent Jesus to us. So the Jesus can teach us how to "live" the word of god by example and not to screw up so much.
The bible has been edited and altered so many times, which is why there are so many religions based on around it i.e. chritsians, catholics, lutherans..e.t.c. They have been edited to fit somebodys agenda and political veiws. But your right in saying that the spirit of the word is true. there is a lot of wisdom, knowledge, metaphors and examples to live as god wants us to. The bible is a great resource for this. It's just to bad you never actually see or hear anybody actually living by jesus examples. That also goes for your pastors, reverends, priests, church leaders e.t.c.. Were human, we've been screwing up since god put us on this planet becuase we are weak.

I never stated that the word was flawed. AND I never stated I don't trust the word of god. It's man that I don't trust. Like i've stated earlier, we as man screw everything up. And we screw up jesus teachings. I also didn't state that the different religions came about because the bible was flawed, they came about becuase people altered them to fit their own personal and political agendas to make things easier on themselves and as you said becuase man had/has issues. "follow me as I follow Christ" (1Cor 11:1) This is what i've been trying to illustrate. To follow christ is to live as he did. His church was whenever 2 or more gathered in his name, it happened all week and took place the entire day. Just becuase we go to church on the sabbath and pay tithes doesn't exactly mean we are living like christ. Hell, we don't even go to church on the sabbath, we go on sunday. The sabbath is saturday. But that got screwed up when christians came to america with the intentions on destroying the native americans entire way of living and culture. They also went around killing folks in the name of god during the crusades. Is that what god wanted? I don't think so. That a whole other disscusion that i wont get into. My point is, if we want to be true christians then we need to follow christs way of live and live as he did and not as we do now.
Also, I recieved a pretty nasty email the other day from one of our fellow gospel forum members. In a nutshell i was cursed out, told that i don't believe in god and a few other things. Is this normal conduct on this forum?

The body of Christ is integral to a Christians life: Ephesians 4:11-18. And as you well know many shall do many things in Christs name that aren't Christlike: John 16:2. Also in that passage of John Jesus clearly states that Christians will be put out of churches/synagogues, which means He intended us to be there in the first place. If you did get cursed out the question isn't is this normal conduct on this forum but is that normal conduct for a Christian anywhere?

I didn't delete the posts. I moved them into the lounge. Remember, I did say that responses to your other topic should go into another thread; however, someone, I don't remember who, said that they felt the need to reply here anyway.
The reason for staying on topic is so things are easier to find for people that come to the site, using the search option. If every post strayed, it would make finding things difficult, and cause people to make duplicate posts, when they could've found the answer faster by using the search option.
