I saw this dude on Drummerworld for the 1st time and fell in love w/ the sound of his kit. Does anyone know what he plays (as far as all drum heads, size of drums, and lastly the wood they are made of)???
Thanx and God bless

Nathaniel Townesley plays GMS drums, GMS hardware, GMS single pedal(a clone of the Iron Cobra), Evans Drum Heads coated (I believe coated G2s but don't hold me to that), Paiste Signature cymbals, Pro-Mark stix not sure what model but they are wood tips.
*drum sizes etc in link below:

Check him out on the Mdern Drummer Weekend 2003 DVD.

yeah, he does use the coated g2's and he also uses the pro-mark sd9 model which is made of maple and is about the size of a 2b stick........

I love the sound of his snare. The sound techs. and the people at GMS Drums and EVANS Drumhead and of course Nathaniel did a good job. Shout out to all of 'em.
GMS 14x5.5 maple (I think it's a Special Edition) G2's on batter. That's crazy.

Yeah, I have even used the G2 coated on my Dave Weckl 14x5.5 maple. G2s rock.
