Hey fellas, was good with Marvin McQuitty and Christopher Coleman? Does anyone know what they are up to these days.  I keep hearing things about these guys but no one knows for sure.  I know some of you guys know them personally so what's up?

Chris Coleman is married (that's when he left New Breed...) and an instructor still instructing at Atlanta Institute of Music http://www.atlantainstituteofmusic.com/aim/atlantainstituteofmusic/home.jsp?PageID=HomeHome.

I also heard that he was playing at Creflo's church but I don't know that for sure.

Last info on Marvin McQuitty I saw was he, chris Coleman and others playing at the Drummers for Jesus festival in Dallas earlier this year.

Yeah, I knew Chris was still teaching at AIM but I wanted to know if he's working with any Gospel artist.

The last thing I heard about Marvin McQuitty was that he was with Israel and New Breed.  Now I think they have another cat named Big Mike or something like that playing with them.  I just want to know waz up with my man Marvin.

I hate posting things I'm not 100% sure about but, I heard that Marvin is still with New Breed but he does more of what he was doing for Fred with Israel and that's being his Road Manager. Don't quote me on that, though. I could stand to be corrected.

Brain Fraiser-Moore is the drummer on live according to his web site.... if I read it correctly. That was on of the projects that put him on the map.

"Big" Mike Clemens is the drummer on 8701 (concert DVD)

Exherts from www.brianfrasier-moore.com bio page:
"Being a Musical Director opened my mind to music and allowed me to hear the music and not myself…

Playing with Aaliayh and Ginuine really gave me a lot of exposure…TV Shows…RadioShows… everything started to happen for me….Thank GOD…

Rest in Peace Aaliyah…

Then came Usher….that was a great experience because he really allowed me to open up and express myself…

He put out a live CD and DVD…more exposure…Thank GOD… (http://brianfrasier-moore.com/bio.htm)"

Also view Brian's Discography page listing "Usher Live" being the only Usher DVD project under the DVD category (http://brianfrasier-moore.com/discography.htm)

I have personally spoke with Big Mike when he did or church anniversary in June of this year with New Breed, so I know for fact that he is playing on the "8701 DVD" (...as well as have that dubbed to VHS last year to study)

Yo, my boy is the percussionist there.  He used to play at my church before he went to your church.  The last time I went there, Israel and New Breed were there for the first time.  That's when I met Chris Coleman.  He was playing a Tama StarClassic that one of the drummers there brought in.  Where you there?

Yeah! That's when I first met Chris as well. That was a StarClassic Birch kit made specifically for Lenny White but he never picke it up. It belongs to Curtis. He use to have a Tama endorsement years ago when hi=e was on the road.

So you know Eugene (percussionist). Yeah he plays for Byron "Mr.Talbox" Chambers {www.CDbaby.com/mrtalkbox} our keyboard 2 and organ player (use to play keybord to for N'Sync).

If you are a member on www.GospelKeyboards.com you will see a jam session after a a youth program at Byron's dad, Rev. Gary Chambers (guitarist/Chambers) church on the first part of the clip I am standing off to the left of the percussionist, Eugene. Around the middle part of the clip I am playing congas all the way to the end of the clip.

That clip of Aaron Lindsy on GospelKeyboards.com was done at New Destiny during the anniversary. THat's the night I met Big Mike. Mike put a hole in his Innovation snare and cracked  17" A Custom in 3 spots- side by side. Dude is consistent, LOl.
