Post by: drumadic on September 28, 2005, 06:22:40 PM
Hi all,
Has anybody ever tried or owns the "Marvin Smitty smith" signature drum??
I can get a good deal on this one here in Paris and was wondering if it's worth it.
I've red somewhere that it's a very good one,but wanted to have some in depth infos.
Cheers .

It's worth it, for real.  That drum is very versatile.  Watch.  SabianKnight is going to get on here and tell you all about it cause he's used it before. Anyway, you should get it dawg.

Mos Def. I played it in Nashville it is super versatile. It has the wided tuning range of any drum I have come across. You don't even know that you are playing a picolol snare. And it is beautiful to boot.

My wife was even impressed by the sound when she heard it.
