Post by: TightHands on November 12, 2005, 07:23:14 PM
YO....There's a new custom drum company in Memphis by the name of Gecko Drums. They are built and sold at Stirngs and Things(for the Memphis folk who know about Strings and Things).  They are trying to work out an endorsement plan right now ( this is for any body who want's a great endorsement)! If anyone in this forum ever gets a chance to come to Memphis, look up Strings and Things, go there and check out the sets.** There is also a company by the name of D.B. who's looking for more endorsers. Check them out too,( that's the company I'm endorsed with)!**

Check Gecko out!: http://www.Geckodrums.com

What do I have to do for the endorsement? Do I go to strings and things or something. By the way do these drums sound as good as the drum boogie? Man drum boogie sounds better than some pearl, dw, and yamaha drums.

You would have to do the same thing anyone else would have to do for an endorsment; make a press kit. But they might give you a break with sending a sample of yourself playing since you live in Memphis.
And know about D.B. and Gecko, I'm endoresd with D.B. and I'm suppose to be telling go that D.B. is the bomb(which it is), but lets just say that D.B. just got some comp. that's a little step higher. 8O

I call up there Monday. Dang it!!! I knew I should have went to strings and things yesterday but I went to guitar center instead. I hope i can just send in a clip and get an easy endorsement. Do i get a major discount or do some of the drums come free?

To answer your question lilben, it depends on your skill level. And TayeDrums, I don't know if you have to be on tour. My suggestion would to just send a press kit.
