I FEEL LIKE LATELY, ALL OF THE TOPICS HAVE BEEN REPETES OF ONES ALREADY UP ON THE MESSAGE BOARD. I MEAN, THERE ARE LIKE 10 TOPICS ALONE AOBUT AARON SPEARS. THEN THERE ARE A BUNCH ABOUT WHAT STICKS YOU USE OR YOUR"DREAM KIT". WE NEED TO FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO TALK ABOUT BESIDES THE SAME OLD STUFF.. :D

I am glad some of the young guys are starting to pick up on this now maybe some more folk will contribute some real drum topics or ask some real thought provoking educational questions.
I would hate to think that this is exemplary of the members contribution to music and the craft of drumming... though I sometimes feel it is. Please prove me and some others wrong.

I believe you have. I'm an organist so I don't check this forum often but when I do I always see the same stuff.

Well, I think that so few drummers on this board have formal training, until everyone is forced to talk about what they understand.
"Who's better Spanky or Booty??"
"What kind of set would you get, if you have infinite dough?"
"Spanky!!!"
This board will be nothing more than a haven for opinions & repititiveness, until more drummers learn to speak the technical language of music.

This is an unfortunate truth. I issue a challenge to every member to become more knowledgeable about music and drumset and percussion this year. The people perish for lack of knowledge.
