Hello all.
I've been keyboard for a while but am just now getting into the wonderful world of Gospel keyboard.
Our pastor is really beginning to come out of his shell in our church and there have been times when I've wanted to get up behind the keyboard and play some good "preaching chords" or something else to help him out.
However, I have no idea how to do this.
I've heard some of it on TV and love it but don't know what chords to hit.
Does anyone have some simple but good sounding ideas for me to get started with. My keyboard has a great organ sound as well so I could use tips for both if available.
Please help help a white brother out. I'm trying to bring some soul to our pack of crackers. lol
Be Blessed.
Brandon

I've posted preacher chords on my website in every key at www.samsmuzikco.com/preacher.htm and www.samsmuzikco.com/preacher2.htm These will get you going in the right direction.

What about transitional chords?
Like when my pastor is just getting up behind the pulpit to preach and he wants some good, soft music behind him for a few minutes.
I don't want to be distracting while I do want it to sound good.
Any good progressions out there?
