Title: "You Can Make It" - Db Chords

Im not sure the actual title of this song, but does anyone have this song?? I really need chords. I play the keyboard for my church, but im in, what i call the beginner stage. I still cant really play by ear, as in, someone sings a song I dont know and I play it off the top of my head. But newayz, Im the keyboard player. But one guy, my brother, when called up, always sings this song, and I have to get up and let the pastors wife(cuz she plays keyboard...old skool though)....play...she can play just to get through the song, but I wanna know how to play with fancy chords n watnot...all kinds of tricks, and not just get through the song.


Does anyone have chords for this song...in Db.

Wish I could help you, but I personally don't know that song (I don't think). Do you happen to have a recording of your brother singing it? I would love to help you.

I think it's a old Shirley Ceasar song.  I'm not for sure though.

I dont have a recording. I tried to search for "you can make it" in Limewire, but I couldnt find anything. I did find the Shirley Ceasar Song " you can make it", but its not the same song.

Yeah I vaguely remember to...Shirley Caesar, Sandi Pattie...Hey, didn't Tammie Faye Baker used to sing that song on PTL all the time. I think that one may be public domain if it's the one I'm thinking of. Hope I helped.

I'd comp it. Start on a major I and comp from there play a minor ii and a sus IV chord followed by an inverted I chord wtih a VI in the bass.  Play a bIV followed by a dim vi back to V down to IV down to a sus IV followed by IV followed by a Imaj7. That should get you through it. It's basically a I-IV-V. I hope I helped.
