Hey Mysteryman, I was on your site listening to your midi files and I wanted to know if you could give us the theory behind the walk up to the 4 chord on your "Soldier in the Army of the Lord" midi. I do something similiar but not like the way you did it. When I'm walking up to my 4 chord I usually play 7th's. For instance, if I'm playing in the key of Ab I'll walk up with Bb7, B7, C7, then the four Chord. If someone else has a substitution for this walk up, let's see it!
(Oh, mysteryman, if you have already addressed this sorry for asking again.)

I think what you are talking about is thet movements using maj7b5 chords.

F/Ebmaj7b5
Gb/Emaj7b5
G/Fmaj7b5

Thank You mysteryman!! I'm sorry I took so long to reply, I don't have a computer at home yet so sometimes I don't get to respond as fast as I need to. I believe that's it though! Thanks a million :D
