Good idea, I've been playing for our mens choir about 4yrs now, but I have been playing and learning well before that and I am still learning this site has been a great help to me and all the instructional DVD ministries that are out there have helped me also.

I just hope that I will be playing a lot more in years to come.

Post by: urs on March 08, 2006, 03:29:58 PM: I've only been playing for a little under a year. I haven't gotten up the courage to play at church, yet but I'm working on it. I'm still trying to understand the theory behind playing and I'm also trying to recognize different chord sounds. I do a lot of practicing, praying and overall just enjoying what I've learned so far. Playing gospel music is a beautiful thing. I probably know all of 5 or 6 songs, but I play them over and over again.
