Title: why big drummers get underestamated 'like myslef'
Post by: diligent_hands on March 16, 2006, 07:33:31 PM: this stereo type must stop..maybe not in cali but in florida in the south east..tampa fl..where i dwell they think us fluffy good looking men aint quick....so not fair!!!

Them wide drees shoes is killing the pocket!!! ;D Doobie Powell looks like a robot when he playing. Did you see the clip of him that was posted a little while ago? He moves crazy fast. In fact a lot of big keyboard players I know are nice too. Imma stop fasting and shed a little more and see what happens. ;D ;D

Thats what im talkin about!! The cats that I have seen just got power behind them. Bass players too. I forget to mention the big bass playing all of the guts the bass.

Being big and playing on the set like myself, you have to be nice, because if you aint it's too easy to notice you when you get off the kit, you stand out to much not to have anyone say anything about you anyway, but if you nice everything said will have to be good

He use to play for my church New Destiny (north) then He went to New Destiny Kissimmee . I was at his CD release there at New Destiny Kingdom Life when he had Third on drums.

You've gotta be kiddin' me man. You're in Tampa, FL? So am I, and I'm a big drummer as well (a whopping 5'11" at 315 lbs.) Dude, where do you play? We can't be this close in proximity and not connect somehow. We should get together and start a new big drummers' organization called "I Ate A Pie Drummers' Conference." LOL. Seriously, hit me up bro.

YO! i dont know what your talkin bout ??? ??? because Ive seen and know alot of Big dudes who are killin on the set yo! ;D Man my dawg Andre Boyd from the LOU as well ;D is a Big Boy and this kat is so sickly fast its craaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy :o :o :o but thin again, Im not the skinniest guy on the block either! ;D A! man who cares what they think about u, just keep doin ur thing and keep killin the set.
