Title: Why chose that bass???
Post by: 4hisglory on March 28, 2006, 07:08:55 AM
The bass you mostly play, why did you chose it???  The one I chose, I chose because it felt comfortable to me when I first started playing.

The one that I play the most is my SR506 only because that's the only one that I have.

The one that I play is an Ibanez srx300, I grab it because the black metal flake finish grabed my eye. I played it and it felt great it my hands wonderfully. The tone is exactly what I was looking for. The price was something I could handle.

I play a TUNE TWB53 5-String Bass.

The 1st things that jumped out at me was the color scheme & feel of her. Then the price tag wasn't too bad. I didn't know nothing about tone and all that when I bought her, but now, I know that she sounds wonderful.

I may eventually change out her pickups, but I love her for being my 1st bass. She will forever be a staple in stable of basses. I have an acoustic 4 string by Hohner also.

I play a Yamaha TRB1005.

I chose it because I felt it was the best bass in the store, near my price range.  Ended up paying more than I really wanted to.. but I felt it was worth it.
