Really informatve clip. How do you set up your amp to get the best sound for slapping?

To get a good slap for me, I turn up my mids on my bass a little. One thing I would add to what Uriah has shown in the video is thumbing thru the string like Victor Wooten does and then coming back up and plucking with the thumb. Its like strumming the guitar. It helps with speed and doesn't tire out your forearm, when you play that song that requires alot of slap playing. I'm still learning the technique but its helpful.

i seen some of that action the other night. everytime i see him live it blows my mind.. but i must admit for teh first time ever i was much more impressed with bela and his banjo solo, and jeff coffin with his wind playing..

I was amazed by those guys when I first saw them in January. I never thought that I would enjoy that type of music. I was only there to see Victor but Jeff and Bela were off the chain.
