Went to memphis to the Union, came home for a week, then set off for Detroit for a family reunion. I'm tired.
We had a ball, though! We met some guy named Jaylin Rose (may be misspelled because I didn't know him). After all the squeals from the younger people, I knew he must have been "someone". That was a treat for them. He took pictures with them. Met a dude at the bar (no, I wasn't being bad, just wasn't too many places to sit with 250 people there), and I do believe he was Frankie Beverly, but he wouldn't admit it. Guess he just wanted to be on the down low.
Got a chance to tour the Motown Museum, and Second Baptist Church that use to house underground railroad passengers. It was very interesting.
But, I'm glad to be back home.
Hope you all had a great holiday.
Love to all,
Ruth
