I believe that practice habits have a lot to do on what brand, model, and instrument you are practicing on. For instance, I HARDLY ever practiced when I just owned keyboards. For some reason it never felt REALISTIC. However whenever I would get near a piano, I would stay on it for hours. I finally invested into a Privia PX-100 digital and it has put the LOVE back into practicing. You cannot expect to master an organ practicing on a piano. The same rules apply to other instruments. I love the piano and since I live in an apartment right now, I couldn't get a baby grand "awwwwww." If you are trying to perfect piano skills, invest in a digital or something that has good quality for a reasonable amount of money. Not only will the weighted keys strengthen your fingers, you will aslo here your notes in a whole new light. God bless and PLEASE holla atcha girl.

I practice on an Alesis Quadrasynth Plus 76 semi-weighted keys. Yeah, it blows practiicing on a keyboard, I'll probably get a piano or at least a fender Rhodes in the fall

Well since I'm a bass player that tring to fufill my dreams of becoming a bass/keyboard player, I practice more on the keys than I do bass. But since I am a full-time worker, part-time student and a new full-time daddy of twin girls I don't get to practice like I should.
