What do you guys think is "fair" pay for a main musician for all services or just Sunday morning services?

IT DEPENDS ON A COUPLE OF THINGS. THE SKILL OF THE MUSICIAN, THE SIZE OF THE CHURCH, THE NUMBER OF MUSICIANS THERE ARE, AND ALSO, THE AMOUNT OF MUSICIANS IN YOUR AREA.

If you are a member of the Musicians union, (assuming you can read transcribes)

MOM pulls    $750 to $900 per    serivce for audience of 1,000
MOM pulls $1,000 to $1,500 per service for Audience of 1,000 plus

Drummer, keyboard, etc.. usually get a flat fee of $200.00 - $250.00 per service (union or non-union)

Here's the discrepency (non-union, that is, can't read and play by hear, which is clearly the best musicians in my opinion) is paid about 2/3 of the above.

This does not include rehearsal, expenses, and room/board.

Above is based on New York Musician Market/Entertainment .
