Does anyone have any info on what Kevin Brunson is up to nowadays? Is he still playing?....HOlla back!

I have been wondering the same thing! He is one of gospel's drumming legends in my opinion! I have all the Milton Brunson & Tommies tapes,cd's and video The THROUGH GOD'S EYES CD is one of the best drumming cd;s i heard and still listen to it sometimes.Kevin is still one of my influences in Gospel Drumming!

Yo' Smarkland38 what's up man?.....I would like to know the same thing man....He was one of the catts that paved the way for most of the known Gospel drummers today....catts like him.....Michael Williams, Jeff Davis, Gerald Heyward...and many more...but its as if he just fell off the face of the earth.....I don't hear nothing about him anymore...so if anyone got some info...HOLLA BACK!!!!

I don't know man....maybe...but yes he was a GREAT INSPIRATION to Gospel Drummers...

Agreed; that was the first time I've heard a DW on a gospel CD. Those tubs sounded wonderful on that CD! ;D

YO!! Kevin Brunson is still nice on the kit. Heard him a few months ago hitting with Kim Mcfarland with Rich Gibbs and Al Willis. These are some of the old guys can still give you a little flava. K B is also doing alot of jazz gigs around Chi!!

man i forgot he was playing DW and i now i remember from one of my MODERN DRUMMERD MAGAZINE COLLECTION. he was on there endorsing DW pedal and one award!

He also endorses Sabian....he is on the website as one of their artists.......
