Title: How do you play "I've Got a Feeling Everything is going to be Alright"
Post by: ManofPraise on April 30, 2006, 10:41:08 AM
I am new to the site. I am an intermediate player hoping to become more advanced. Do anybody know some nice chords to the praise song "I've Got a Feeling" in Eb?

I played that song every sunday, The church loves to hear that song. I'll take the time and write out the chords to give back to you.

In this key of Eb (E Flat), all the E's A's and B's are flats. Just a reminder!!!! The lower case b's are the flats.
LEFT HAND (bass notes)/RIGHT HAND (treble clef notes)

I've= GBbEb/GBbEb
Got=Ab/EbAbC
A Feeling=GBbEb/GBbEb
That every= Ab/EbAbC
Thing's gonna=GBbEb/GBbEb
Be=Ab/EbAbC
Alright=GBbEb/GBbEb

Oh...=G/GCEb

I've= G/ GCEb
Got= Ab/ GCEB
A Feeling=C/ CEbG
That every=CG/ GCEb
Things gonna be= C/CEbG
All= GC/ AbDF
Right=GBb/ GBbEb

I've= GBbEb/GBbEb
Got=Ab/EbAbC
A Feeling=GBbEb/GBbEb
That every= Ab/EbAbC
Thing's gonna=GBbEb/GBbEb
Be=Ab/EbAbC
Alright=GBbEb/GBbEb

Be All=EbAb/ EbAbC
Right=C-C/ CEbG
Be all=D-D/BEbG (This chord is B natural- a regular B not a Flat B)
Right=BbEb/ GCEb
Be all= BbEb/ AbDF
Right= GEb/ GBbEb

I held off on all the runs I usually do while playing. I held off all the "extras" or fancying the music, just to make it simple. But feel free, to adapt to your style of playing. Whatever style of playing you have.
