Title: Quartet Yes or No?

Do you like Quartet/Traditional music more than contemporary? Do the Soul Seekers ring a bell or not? or you just can't stand it. Post you reasons for or against it. How many people listen to Quartet anyway? Holla at ya Girl represent![/font]

I'm not a big fan of Quartet, but I must admit, The Soul Seekers have a fan in me...They inspired me and a few other of my musician friends to do a lil' something similiar sometime this summer lol  I will say one thing, it's impossible to go to a Quartet concert and sit the entire time..Your foot will get to tapping and before you know it, you're up saying..'Gotta have the Holy Ghost"

The only reason I listen to it is because my Grandfather use to listen to it  ;D
I will sing it at church to help out the bros
but  I do have a friend who has a quartet group and I like to hear them but the only reason I would buy a CD is to support
I like worship and I have not heard a good quartet worship song or praise song

Can't do it.......I'm partial to choirs and choralés...

I don't like that quartet sound and tend to go in the hallway if there is a selection by a quartet

My father loves Quartet music, so that's mostly what I have heard coming up.  It has passed on to me also.  I don't know of too many Apostolic quartet groups.  I heard one about a month ago called the Apostolic Wonders from Akron,OH. William Brothers and the Mighty Clouds of Joy are my main groups.

I love me some quartet music..That what playing here all the time in my area..But as for me playing for one...NAH!!! NEVER!!

Man..... is quartet that bad for real. :-\ Now sometimes I can't take alot of that screaming and wining and I turn to something different. But I challenge all that said no to quartet to listen to just a little bit of the Soul Seekers album. I look at it like this, when music is good it's good, no matter if it's traditional or quartet. Maybe some of your have been Quarteted to death, I think that maybe some of your grew up at the Quartet sangings like I did and love it. No matter what I respect music itself.

But, I want to know one more thing What is up with the musicians and Dread Locks, is it for everybody? LOL :D :D :D :D

I grew up going to my dad and his group's programs. That is why I am a quartet girl today. I love contemporary too. I like them both the same.

I am sorry I offended you, I just wanted to know is this new trend because of Tye Tribett or what? Not to put anyone down. But, do you think they are made for everyone? How long should they be before you cut them?

I don't care for quartet music. Same lyrics & music sound over and over!

And what's up with Lee Williams? Does he ever move out or does he just stand there in one spot for an entire concert? Enquiring minds want to know!

But you know what, when I here quartert music live, I'm up jamming with the rest of them  ;D

I CANNOT STAND QUARTET MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It just gets on my LAST nerve!!! There are people out there that just love it, and im confused as to why they love it. Hey i guess whatever floats your boat.

Quartet music...no thanks. But, I do/did like Take 6 if they are considered "quartet"? I don't like hearing or playing it.

Sis T my dad is a big Lee Williams fan and I was wondering the same thing that man will break his neck and try to make it to a Lee Williams concert  but Lee Williams has a huge fan club where I am from the man can sing no doubt I love some of his music but after awhile your like whoa thats enough but the man is funny if you ever see him live its like watching a pole sing to you..... but I like him for the most part......
