Anyone have bass tabs for any 3 of the Donnie McClurkin songs: Stand, Speak to my heart or We fall Down? I know people dont like doing tabs, but since these are old songs I was wondering if anyone had these tabs. And if u dont have these tabs, and want to help a brotha out, thanks a million!

If someone wants me to pay them for taking the time to do the tabs, it wont be a problem. I just hate to see like 99 views and 0 replies

I'm not sure how knowledgable you are on the bass but try checking the organ room. They have alot of songs tabbed out although it's not in the traditional bass tab format.
Try doing a search for your songs there and if you have difficulty understanding how to read the tab post in this thread again and I'll be more than happy to explain it to you!

I don't have tabs, but I may have charts for some of those songs

Well I have been playing for a little under a year, so my knowledge is kinda limited. But I did a search, and I get some of the songs, which I guess its the bass on the left hand and notes/chords with the right hand. But I'm still coming up empty with those 3 songs for tabs

Trotter nailed it. When reading the organ "tabs" you only need to notes on the left side of the slash. In some instances there will be two slashes (far left is foot pedals, middle is organists left hand) in cases like that, just use the notation for the foot pedals.
You'll also notice that some songs will have a run for the organists left hand (bass part) and you can either play the run in unison or just play the root note. If you need any help, don't hesitate to ask!

Wow thanks alot Trotter...I didnt even notice u put all three songs here. And thinks alot as well ...bullitt. Quick question for u bullitt, after I get all the notes, how do I know which A or Bb it is. Or does it all have to do with scales

lol, Trotter got it again :)
I used to wonder which octave note to play as well but the more you play/practice it will just start to come naturally for you. You'll be able to feel what the right note should be...but for now, like Trot said, just listen to the song to get the feel for the progression.
