would anyone be interested in sheding over the phone like once a week type of arrangement?
please also keep in mind if the phone bill isnt in your name to ask first cuz im not payuing anyones bills but my own and i dont even wanna pay those as it is.
this would be for learning purposes meaning not a jam session
-
i could do that i guess how would it work?
-
like 3 or 4 cats call like on a 3way call have your organ or keyboard ready at a time best for all those who participate wether its just basic changes scales whatever and just learn
-
oh, ok
-
just curious... would the CHAT ROOM work for something like this?
-
i dont think so i think the purpose is to hear them play as well as talk to them its faster then typing
-
right
-
I can hear them playingin the chat room and more than one at the same time .Somebody was singing and being followed by somebody else and it was perfectly clear a couple of days ago. Interesting

Ok, Check this out..
This is what we could do (Broadband users only)
Purchase a video cam for about $50 at your nearest best buy if you dont have one.
And we can video conference call - with visual and hearing.
We can use yahoo messenger or any other WYSIWYG software
Maybe Key-Wiz can be the moderator
What ya'lls think?
-
im not attacking but there are two problems with and it actually was my first idea but realistically nobodys broadband is going to run at the same speed hence there will be lag so if someone gets 384k speed and i have 4mb speed then it would be a problem also you'd be excluded someone based on thier isp connection.
-
Actually difference in broadband speeds doesn't cause lag. As long as the rate is set correctly, everything would be fine. Because your proogram would never be using the full 4mb anyway.
Second part is a problem though. That's why it was supposed to be about the phone
-
I believe Fonzie would say "Correctomundo!"
Dirty phone lines links, blurs/other apps/etc cause for poor bandwidth and latency between you and your ISP -- Run a line test if you suspect poor activity.
But this aint a tech board, this is an organ board --so lets be about phatting up these chords ;D
Anyway,
DSL/cable/satellite is cheap as heck nowadays and almost offered in every area in the US.
If anyone wants to hook up and has the following high speed alternatives, get yourself a cam and email me @ cross_curt@yahoo.com.
If you dont know what to do, I'll walk you through it.
"I gotz to get these chords by any means necessary"
Holla back,

musiqisme26 I'm interested in the phone shed. What would I need to get started? Should I purchase a speaker phone? If we're using a 3-way, would we giveup any bandwidth? You can try this concept with me if you'd like.
