what are your churches requirements to join the choir and/or band ministry?

Well my church is REALLY in need of ANYONE that can sing or play, so my church doesnt have anythin for you to join. Just be a rehersal ON TIME and keep coming back!!!

You must be a baptized believer.
You must have completed New Member classes
You must attend either Bible Study or Sunday School regularly,teachers of one must attend the other
Be faithful in attendance for 6 months (goes along with new member class)
You must read and consent to the rules for choir members (this is a liitle less done now that we are only one choir)


THe first 4 are mandatory for serving in ANY capacity in church. IF you want to join the choir, our MOM will usually have you sit in on rehearsals for a few months before you sing.

Do we go to the same church¿  These are the same rules that we have to join the choir

Its a class on our church doctrrine history, our beliefs on holy spirit, gifts , baptism etc

Thats what was taught when I lived in Cali... Now in my church in Va., not even close... you aint even gotta go to no classes.... makes it rough...
