Well, for me I would rather have non-heavy keys, for live. Especially when playin organ or a fast run. When I play piano or rhodes or Ep's then I kind of wish I had heavy keys, but it no big deal.
61 keys for me it's too small, I would rather play on a 76-key. 88 keys is not really necessary since the first and last keys don't get used much. only if your playing classical or if a specific song needs it.

Well that's just me :).

I have a 61 key board and a 76key Yamaha.  I like the 76key boards better.

61 keys are to small for me.

88key is good if you don't have carry it around. (HEAVY)

There are many people who love the 61 key boards.

Its just a personal taste when it comes to the keyboards.

Great question "reggiejanisian".....I have a 61 key keyboard at home but when I play during church I use a 76key Yamaha board , I prefer the 76 and would like one at home, the 61 is okay but I always feel like the board missing a few more keys..... ;D   :D   ;D

WELL I PERFER (for a main board) A FULL 88-KEY (weighted) OR A 76-KEY (semi-weighted).

FOR A SYNTH ON TOP OF THE ORGAN, I PERFER A 61-KEY (non-weighted)

76 is perfect 61 maybe good in my opinion for auxilary purposes such as horns or something but for keys in general 76

I like to practiceon 88 weighted keys when I'm in service it depends what I'm doing.  If I'm playing lead keys on a slow worship song like "Lamb of GOD" by Twila Paris I like 88 keys if I'm play some fast I like light keys either way it doesn't matter to me.  I don't carry equipment I just play what's availible. These are just things I prefer.
