Title: Help...I need lyrics to the rest of this song
Post by: Val215 on July 12, 2006, 03:59:09 PM
I've searched everywhere and can't find it. I know it's called "I Just Can't Make It By Myself" It's by Clara Ward & The Ward Singers. A very old song. Here are some of the lyrics:

Verse 1:
I need the Lord, to guide me everyday
As I travel along this narrow way

Verse 2:
If you're riding life's railway all alone
And you feel you have no one to call your own

Other parts:
I got to have Jesus for I just can't make it by myself

Chorus is something like this:
Every second, every minute, every hour
Every day, everyweek, every month through the years come what may, for I got to have Jesus....

Thanks in advance :)

Song lyrics "I Just Can't Make it By Myself"

I need Jesus to guide me everyday
As I'm traveling along this rough and narrow way
Though afflictions fill my soul
I'm determined to make the goal
I've gotta have Jesus 'cause I just can't make it by myself

Every day I pray (pray) pray (pray)
Pray (pray) pray (pray)
I pray (pray) pray (pray)
Pray Pray Pray
Pray and ask the Lord Jesus
Don't leave me by myself

Every mornin' through the years I pray
You know I've got to have Jesus
I just can't make it by myself
By myself
