You can record yourself with the sound recorder in windows. Just go to the start menu---programs---accessories--entertainment--sound recorder. You can plug up with a mic or you can plug a pair of headphones into the mic jack on your computer. If the headphones dont work try pluggin them in the jack halfway.
When you save the file in the Save As box click the change format button. Then change the format to mpeg or windows media and the file will be smaller when you save it.
Not bad MM, is this you playing on the piano? Bishop Cole
Yeah I used a midi I made a while ago. I have the mic and the midi playing through the keyboard. I can make you a file if you need it nessa. Just tell me what song.Let me think about it and get back to you. Maybe I'll record it and send it to you and then you can accompany it?
Okay, here goes.... now you know I never claimed to be a fabulous singer, but I thought I'd take the bait that mm put out there.

MM and DD, I know I'm all late and stuff, but y'all are cool! Thanks sooo much! That is so cool!
Im very sad because no more people people put up clips. So to punish you some more I did another small clip. Sorry about the static. That happened when I converted it.

What about the rest of y'all? Y'all scurred?
In a word, yep. AND, I don't know how to record a clip. What are you all using?
I'm using moviemaker. It lets you record in wma format. I don't know, but I think the program came with my laptop. Let me know if you need details, I'll try to remember how to do it this weekend.

Hi! I'm the new girl in the mix. Mysteryman, that was beautiful!. I know that was a short clip, but it was anoited!
I'm a singer & a drummer and I love praising God.
Very nice MM :) So when is the CD coming out?
Im going to be working on a CD in the next few weeks but other people will be singing on it. LOL I am planning on making a personal CD of songs. Im going to do some hymns and get some people at the church to sing on it. Im going to sell it to make money on the side. I may sing one song. Something simple. I just have to make sure I stay in key. Im thinking of only playing one instrument sounds with no beat or get this other guy to lay the drum tracks.Sounds like a good idea to me. I'll buy!
Some ideas I had was to do one CD of hymns and worship songs. Or I could do another CD of congregational songs with singing. Or do one CD with all three. What you think?
I was going to get copies made and then let all those who sing sell their own copies of the CD to make their own money. Does it sound like a good idea?

Okay, here's another one from me. This time I was practicing recording multiple tracks, so this one has me singing the soprano, alto, and tenor parts on this song called, "You Mean the World to Me". I learned this song in a workshop w/ Stevie Lawrence of the Potter's house, I've never heard it on CD or anything, so I'm doing the soprano and tenor parts from memory. I was in the alto section for the workshop, so I pretty much had that part down.
