why dont people chord songs for those that play five string?

Now we talking....most of the chords I see are for a 6 string

But I am a 5 string player ;)

mostly because of the added flexibility that a 6 stnng adds.  You can play every note in a "5 fret box" and using a 6er keeps you from having to shift hand positions on the neck as much.

For those of us who play 5-strings, you can still hit that extra note that the 6 string players tab, it just may have to be a octave lower.

I actually play a 6, but I thought that it would be easier for others to tab it out for a 4 string.
