I sings mostly sing tenor but I sing alto if I have to
I go between soprano and alto, but I'd rather sing alto, they have the interesting harmony to me. ;D

YEA I HAVE TO AGREE WITH BOTH OF YOU. I LIKE THE 1ST&2ND TENOR. BUT IF MY ALSO ARN'T DOING THIER PART I'LL FILL IN
I'm certain I'm an alto, the other choir members say I'm a soprano. ?/?
That's what we suspect. The altos called me a "messy" soprano and kicked me out of the section.
;D ;D ;D

We have the hardest job in the choir, so if things are not flowing right we have to give that person their walking papers.
PS The mezzo always sing in the alto section at my church. They cannot sing high enough to sing with our sky high sopranos. [/b] [/color]
Bass right here! Holdin down that bottom! I only get the chance to sing it in choral classes or when I'm singing with a group. I don't know why church choirs don't have a bass section. So I sing tenor in the choir, but I'm a bass 4 sho.
STAY BLESSED

That's messed up, choirs should have a bass section. I think the Thompson Community Singers had a bass section.......would that be 4 part harmony. Maybe that's why the were so spectacular, they had 4 sections holding it down.
I'm the new choir director at my church, so I pretty much sing everything, but I had to come and rep the SOPRANO section. You know the choir wouldn't be the choir without us especially when we carry the melody 98% of the time. Everybody else just try to keep up. ;D

You guys must have a small choir. I find it amazing when women can sing tenor comfortably and when men sing alto and Soprano.
What I notice is that it's acceptable for a woman to be a tenor, but many very popular famous choirs will not allow men to sing in the alto or soprano section. In my church choir, men have to sing tenor.....but we have 5 ladies who sing with the tenors and no one has a problem with that.[/b]

I sing them all!!! ;D Well actually, I sing tenor but being the M.O.M., I sing them all (another story, another post!)
I'm repin the tenors. I love it when each section gets their turn. When the tenors come in on their solo...... the crowd goes wild :D :D :D. I sing bass on one song. John Kee " I Believe". I act like the bass off of Take 6 :D
Wifeee is a hardcore soprano. 1st and 2nd.
I've noticed that as well, but never understood it.
There's a special anointing in that range of the music spectrum. ;) :DOOOOOOHH Okay. I thought it had something to do with everybody's wife and girlfriend getting exited to hear their man singing all deep :D
