My favorite secular artist is an extraordinaire. He does it all. Check out the production credits on most of his albums.

I'm serious.  Stevie recorded the drums on a lot of his most famous recordings (namely Superstition).

I respect him SOOOOO much as an artist and musician.

Why do you ask that?

Cuz I thought that the clip wasnt all that. It definitely wasnt recorded all at the same time...just a little ghetto. THats all.

Their are going to be a lot of upset Negroids, E-R. However, I respect your candor. What you said just now, to some, is the equivalent of walking into downtown Jerusalem, and taking a hot, steamy whiz on the Old Testament.

E-R for President!

.....and for the record, I agree with E-R. I've never been a fan of Ol' Stever. I've heard people call him a genius, but I often wondered if it was for the same reason they called Ray Charles a genius.

....see where I'm going with this?

"Genius" is a word that's very over-used. My family considers me a computer genius, but mainly because they have little to no experience in using computers. It's all relative...

...to me, Stevie is a decent artist - but, I've never been wow'd by his artistry. Furthermore, if that clip was "great" ... then, I'm seriously under-rating myself.

Okay, I'm done.

I don't think that no ones boasting about Stevie being an awesome drummer (the clip was kinda cheesie by the way, but it's Stevie!). Is just that he's a multi-talented artist and to be so with a handicap such as his is extraordinary in my opinion. Think about it, the guy don't even know what drums look like (a cymbal, snare, toms, etc.). He don't even know what a circle looks like and he managed to work his way around the kit. He could've done a basic 2,4 and I would've been blown away. Just my opinion and I'm not attacking you bro.

I know you Suga, you would never come at me. ... I guess I didnt stress my point enough though. I have no problem with his playing, nor his talent or ability of musicianship. NO quarrels there. Where I did have a complaint, was I thought the clip was Ghetto, or as you put it, Cheesy, It just wasnt a well done clip. I was never knocking the music.

Thanks Div, I hope I get your vote in 2012! haha.

God Bless.

Well, I didn't post that clip to change the world or anything.  It was just something I thought was pretty cool...and it was a little awkward to watch, but it was the 70s. :D
