There's a song called "I'm a Child". Some of the words are:

I'm a child, just a child.
There's a difference in me, I belong to the king.

I'm a child but I'm still growing,
I read my Bible everyday,
I ask the Lord for understanding,
and He hears me when I pray.
There's a difference in me, I belong to the king.

I would like to know who wrote/recorded this song so that I can find a recording of it.

Never mind, I just found it. It's by Walt Whitman and the Soul Children of Chicago on their "We Are One" album. Great song!
