He has trailblazed the path for the Gospel Bassist. Listen to what he has to say because he has done it all, from being a church musician to being a Professional. Anyone that does his own thing on stage with Prince IMO is a baaaaad man. :)

Amen to that. I was just htinking this morning and last night "man if i could just play for a living i'd be the happiest man in the world wit the best job". Not that my job now isn't absolutely amazing...lol

I mean dude was doing his thing, but the thing that I enjoyed about that performance the most was that he was so under control. I mean he was getting nasty and if you wasn't listening for the bass you wouldn't really know it. He's really at the top of his game!!!
