Yo here is a cat I mentioned to yall a while back, take in his audio clips. He's one of the best drummers in Canada period.

He sounds very clean. I liked the beginning of the solo on Solo part 2.
-
I've only listened to the "Shout To tHe Lord" track but the whole band is nice.! Simple but ever present... very nice vibe. This guy is very clean. Drum machine like, a la ?uestlove (Philadelphia Experiment) and drum-n-bass style.

I love this arrangement of Shout To The Lord (except the sax -- the tone sounded a little cheesy.)
Who is this? And where can I get a copy of this? I don't mind paying for it. Who is the artist that he's playing for? Details, details. . .

He plays in a group called "perfect cadence". I'll get there contact info and hit you up with it so you can scoop the album trust me it's BANANAS.
-
He also plays on the best "Black Gospel Praise & worship album" {Rhema worship & praise}. You can get that on itunes i believe. Trust me for recordings in Toronto this is the man to go to, his pocket is solid and when he comes out, he's bananas too LOL. His indepance is nice too (left foot clave and all).

Thanks for that post 7thseale. That was actually refreshing for me to hear him play. I loved his solo on "Shout To the Lord" it was very musical and spaced very well. I like baldeagle, would buy a copy of this album no questionsed asked. Once again...thanks for the post.

I'm the only one who think this dude is ridiculously sick :o? His drums sound so heavenly in that shout to the lord cut.
-

The cat is niiiice doc fo' sho. The drums were a bit over processed for me. I like an open sound but he playing/solo and the overall arrangement of Shout to the Lord was off the hook. His drum sound fit the overall recording as it is but I personally heard the need for a more open sound to ad to that etheral synth sound. I love the hihat though. Sound a bit lit some 13" Groove Hats or something just as mello. I am searching for that perfect hat sound. I think Paiste has it in the Dark Energy 13" and 15" hats. I am going to find it in an old set of 13" AAX Fast Hats and some 15" HHX Groove Hats (a la Tank).
About to listen to the last 2 clips of him.
Nice post 7thseal
