Have you ever had someone come at you in a way that just took you by suprise?? And in the midst of your shock :o , you just had to laugh?? Let me explain...
I went home last week for a few days and told only three people I was leaving. Upon my return, I received a call from a close friend of mine that refers to himself as a "pastor". He begins the call as such, "Praise 'em preacha. Why haven't I heard from you these last few days?"
No "How are you?? How have you been??" ...just right outta the pocket like sombody's daddy! So, I responded with, "Cause I'm a grown man!" in a joking fashion and although we both laughed about it, I realized that there was truth behind my statement that he needed to be aware of.
I'm mostly up front with people about how I feel about certain situations, but that took the cake and left me laughing with the thought in my mind, "I know this... He didn't just..." LOL!!! Y'all know what I'm saying... have you ever had such an encounter??
