Title: More Vocal Work Tongue Twisters.
Post by: Mysteryman on September 26, 2006, 12:42:51 AM
Im letting the Lord train me to be a MOM one day and Im preparing myself by doing learning certain things. I talked to one of my friends who is in acting. One technique he said his teachers taught them was to use tongue twisters. So Im just passing the info along. If you can practice tongue twisters every day it will help loosen your tongue and jaws so you are able to pronounce your words better. Here are a few sites I got from the search.

Im not sure if you all will take this in but these are things I plan on using if the Lord allows me to director or teach vocals one day. I wanted to keep all my little secrets in a way but its not about me so hopefully you will be blessed by this to teach your choir members. Hopefully no one will bite their tongue. ;D One idea I had was that you can open up choir rehearsal with a tongue twister as a part of the vocal trainning or hand out sheets with tongue twisters on them to practice during the week.

Another thing that will help is to read your bible out loud sometimes when you do have time.
