My eBay auctions for these two basses are ending today. Looks like the Music Man Bongo is going to be sold. Just a matter of where I'll be shipping it. So far the leading bid is $860. If anyone here is interested in bidding, here's the link....

The Marcus Miller doesn't have any bids yet, but if anybody bids $625 or more, I guess I'll be saying goodbye to that one too. If nobody bids on it, I think I'll wind up keeping it. It's really starting to grow on me. Here's the link to that auction....

Here's pictures of both, in the event anyone here is interested. I'm off to a wedding, so I won't be able to answer any questions between now and the time the auction ends, but some questions have already been asked by potential bidders, and I've placed answers to them right on the auction pages.
Peace,
James

Man, I really want that Marcus Miller! I had to use mine as a trade in for my Yamaha TRB5! I've always planned on buying another one. I just don't have the money at his time! That's a really nice bass!

The one I used to own is shown in my pic to the left.

Well, the Bongo sold for $890, so it's gonna be on it's way to France. Wish I could hand deliver it.
The Marcus Miller did not sell, so I'll probably hang on to it. At least for a little while. I'm really starting to like it. This isn't my first time around with a Marcus Miller.
I had this one for about 8 months until I sold it to pay for a Hanewinckel fretless that I kept for 4 years and just recently sold.

This one had the J-Retro preamp in it and was a seriously bad little machine. If I decide to keep the one I have now indefinitely, I may juice it up to a J-Retro.
If I do sell it later, it's because I have this one on the way, due sometime in November or December.

When it's done, it'll be a Roscoe LG-3005 fretless with ebony fingerboard.
Peace,
James

I like the sunburst MM better then the yellow one.

LOL! It looks yellow in that pic but it's actually natural!

Here's a pic from the Fender website!

Man after hearing you play I would think you would never be low on cash. :D

Nah, but I appreciate the compliment!

there is a MM 4 string at the local music store that was dropped by one of the associates. there is a small dig on the bottom side of the neck but the bass plays flawless. I've played it since it was dropped and I'm debating if I still want to get it. I like the tone of that bass and I'm pretty sure, once I put some DR's on it, the bass would really sing. It is the natural finish, just like I like it.

Oh Oh. There's a reason people don't ship overseas. I hope it turns out well for you, but I would sure make sure that I had every dime safely irretrievably in my hand before I even put that Bongo in a box. Better safe than sorry. There are a number of scams going on, so be very, very, very careful.

The money's in the bank, the bass is in the air. I've seen a number of the scams and almost got caught up in one last year. I had my radar working for this one.
