just a fun list to see how many drummers out there are related

billy powell/doobie powell - brothers

gerald heyward/eddie heyward - cousins

i know calvin rodgers and the cat playing on new directions cd are related

they half brothers....i didn't believe it either when i heard it a while back, look other musicians that have no ties to each other from different cities told me that they r brothers so hey take it how u want ........... and plus my cousin is cool with them phily cats and have been to some of they sheds and so i'll take his word for it...

I beg to differ with this one. I read an interview modern drummer did with Lil' John and not once, amidst talking about Spanky, did he mention Spank being his brother. Now, I did hear that Lil' John is one of Spanky's mentors. I'd let you get away with adoptive brother but not blood brother.
