I have noticed with a lot of digital keys, they sound great thru studio monitors and headphones. But,in live venues at low volume they sound "weak". For example, i was sitting about 20 rows back, listening to our bass player, thru a hartke amp with a 15" speaker, again low volume.I could hear and feel what he was doing.Sometimes, having to cover bass parts,i can get a good sound, but just not the punch or sustain.Same with some organ, piano, rhodes sounds,a big lack of projection, sometimes even couple feet away from the monitors. Any ideas?

If it's a stereo keyboard and you're playing it through a single amp you're only getting half of the signal. You'd need to mix the left and right outputs together to get the whole signal.

thanks supreme,i do that for the house and monitors, i only have a small fender tube amp as a monitor for myself. our sanctuary has some acoustic issues,we are trying to resolve these issues with low stage volume,a BIGGG part of my issue, not being able to hear .be blessed

You can always turn to headphones. I was a convocation and that what we used to get the sound that we need.
