calvin has gained the respect of many drummers around the country......He has great pocket and his fills are so tasteful...he is not explosive.....(not to say that he can't do it b/c he can) but he chooses to add taste to the music.....Much respect..

Your question was can he breath in that lil space? Ok you was talking about volume of space to set itself. I was analyzing how he managed great time (regardless of whom ot what) which timing has to do with you breathing as well. Again...

No... I was accenting due to the fact a few were dwelling on the fact of the limited space. It was just my take on the clip. One...

No. It's just that your comment could have been interpreted like that.
When I saw your comment I thought the same thing as Cherri... He played very well within the "musical" space of the song itself.
Not that he didn't have much "room" space (Which I doubt because the kit isn't very small).

Nothing against your comment. Just an observation of the video itself.

Nice clip...  rarely do we get to keep an eye on a pro for a whole show. I love his precision. Lot's of practice time with the click.

its a nice clip i respect calvin he sounds more similar too calin rodgers to me than joey oscar but...its old, ive seen this clip posted here before ::)
