what contemporary songs do your men's choir sing?

Ha now that's funny!!
They don't really do contemporary at all.

However, there is this song that I hear on the radio a lot that a real upbeat that I want them to do, but that would be a disaster   :o ::)  I think it's called, "I want the Lord to use me".

We don't have a men choir but we do have a male chorus that sing quartet.

Our men's choir sang a few songs for our recent "Men's National Convention".......They are......

- Aaron Gayden - You Are My All In All
- Jesus Christ The Lord Opened Up The Way [Hymn]
- Hand In The Hand [Hymn]

Most of our songs are hymns and some songs of old that I have never heard of...... :).

my mens chorus tried to do "ordinary love"....but i couldnt stay up long enough to hear it.....LOL

You can try some of these artists, they have contemporary songs that a men's choir can sing

* Keith Wonderboy Johnson
* GMWA Men of Promise/GMWA Men's Chorus
* The Winans
* Men of Standard
* Soul Seekers

Really your men choir can sing any song that's contemporary by any artists, not just a group that's targeted for a men's chorus. Just lower the range so that the men will be able to sing it.  ;)

Exactly.  Don't get hung up on stigma that Men cannot sing but only quartet or only a certain style.  Any song can be rearranged in a lower key and they can be just a temporary as the rest.
Give it a try.  Use your imagination and creativity.

That's some good advice. I needed to hear that myself.
