Would you choose a superior sounding Brady(!) drumkit which I've done 2 gigs with and feels
a little uncomfortable, over a very good and comfortable drumkit (Yamaha Beech Custom)?
The 20 inch Brady kick is 18 inches deep and feels heavier than my 16" deep Maple Customs,
and although the Brady sounds AMAZING[!!!!!], setting her up takes a long time without finding the perfect angles.
Am I going to get used to the Brady kit or should I just forget about it? :-\(and go for Yammie's Beech)
SabianK, EC, JFunky, Cherry,...anyone...your opinion is appreciated.
God bless.

dude if the Yammies sound good to you, keep them jons, my boy gotta a set of GMS drums that sound blazing and he loves them but they are heavvy and take a extra long time to setup jus like he wants, not because of the lack of memory locks its just the mounting system isn't user friendly (lol) its bulky as crap, so if the Yams give you a good sound then kee them and do your thing homey, be blessed

Either get a rack and or memory locks for the Brady's or stick with the Yamahas. Both are great kits. You may just need to get comfortable setting up the Bradys. Practice your setup time. 20 min should be your max time.
