Title: GK Bass rig for sale
Post by: jeremyr on December 14, 2006, 11:40:35 PM
Well people I want to make a change in my rig, so I've put my rig up for sale.  I'm giving the people here at lgm first dibs and you guys are the only people i'll ship this for.

I'm looking to get $350 for my rig as shown in my avatar.  It's the Gallien-Krueger 2x10blx and the 1x15blx

You can see a more indepth description as I've listed on craigs list.

http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/msg/249151153.html

First $350 takes it (the head isn't included!!!). And of course if you can't pick it up you need to pay for shipping.

PM me for details.

If I didn't have that exact same set-up, I would buy it myself. For anyone interested in nice punchy lows and crystal clear highs, this is a rig you should check out!!! Im about to upgrade to the Eden Wt800 with an Eden 4x10 cab and 1x10 cab on the bottom. good luck

YOU TOO!!!! I'm getting the WT800 with the D410XLT as soon as my tax money come in, and later on in the year I'm getting the 210XST to go on the bottom.  that 210 cab will out punch most of the 410s on the market.

nothings wrong with it at all.  It's a church only rig.

Send me a PM if you need any more info, or if you're in the chicago area you could come check it out.

well its official, every musician waits for their tax money to splurge at the music store !

when mine comes im pickin up a 210 xst and an undecided head for my practice rig at home and smaller functions.

although im sure most of you here with full time jobs can splurge a little more ;D

but as a "struggling" uni student im happy for any tax money i get back !

Let me save you some money.  The Eden D410XLT used with a WT800 in bridged mono is immensely loud.  It projects enormously, and is even more dominating off to the sides.  A 1x10 would add nothing to the setup and I question what a D210XST would even do since both are less efficient than the 410 and hence would not only be smaller, but quieter, running the same level of  power.

When I first started using Eden, i tried running the 410 with the 15 and I was better off just running the 410 by itself.  I can assure you that I have never had anyone tell me that I was playing too softly.

I'd go with the D212XLT.  I'm just not a fan of 210s at all.

I don't like 2x10s to be a stand alone cab. Mated with another 2x10 or a 15 or 2x12 I think it's great.

So the question is did anyone by the rig.

J,

Hit me up if they didn't.  I may be interested.  I just got back to the states and need a rig.

Peace,
