What do you mean, not the same live version? This song is not live on the CD. It's recorded at Face to Face Studio. Did I miss something?

I liked the Cd version of this is the day more than the one on the DVD..It didn't sound as big to me , live.    The Dvd was cool but I miss the sound of Mo Horns backing Fred up ...Was it me or was there a lil bit too much video editing going on in this Dvd?...it seemed just a tad bit too busy.

...alright, I haven't finished watching it since I bought it this morning and I was watching it on my portable DVD player till the battery died. (I'm at work. lol)  I have 3 songs left to see.  Anyway, it's good.  There are many Calvin Rogers camera shots.  The band is doing there thing.  He does a song with "Big Rube" (Ruben Studard).

...The band held it down.  Calvin played like Calvin.  They did a few RFC songs/medley which made me a bit sad since I'm RFC 4-Life and I miss 'em.  There are a few crazy clips and camera shots kind of like "Live from Another Level - Israel Houghton" and a few "Fill in" clips of people talking and saying things or singing between a couple of songs to set up another song.

JFunky's Rating so far - 7.5 out of 10

...that's what I'm saying....the Video Editing was weird.  It was kind of like a mild Tonex DVD at the beginning, wasn't it??  :-\

Aside from the fact the creative editor did not take his A.D.D. medicine that day. . .

The video was pretty cool. My wife and I didn't feel this one like we did his last two, but that was probably because of the "busy"ness of the cameras.

The music was outstanding. The guys did a great job. We miss the old band, but nothing's lacking. If you can, when you get this video, hook up your tv to some good speakers. I don't have a big entertainment system, but I do have a Roland keyboard amp that I hooked my DVD player to and Calvin's drums SOUND SOOOOOOO GOOD!!!! Forget his playing (which was killin'), the boy's drums sound sweet. And I don't think I would have gotten the same sound if I hadn't hooked my amp to it. My tv's sound is just not that great.

Overall, the DVD is pretty cool.

Where can I start my research? ?/? ?/?   ;D ;D

Seriously, though. I like finding out industry secrets. Is there any way you can ask him to come on and tell a brother or something?

My wife and I are with you. (Chanting and pumping fist in the air): RFC. . .RFC. . .RFC. . .RFC

...lol  Whoever is sayin' Noel Hall left, they need to read the small print.  A couple of the songs on the album already had Mr. Noel Hall's fingerprints on 'em. lol  For example:  No Greater Love.  He may not be playin' with him but he's behind the scenes.  Business is buisiness and of course Fred hasn't lost his mind.  Noel and Fred are still doing it. ;)

...lol, I wasn't talking about you. lol  I was just stating things in general.  Too many people think that Noel and Fred are no more just because they don't share the same stage.  Man, true friends stick together through whatever.

Sidenote:  I can't wait till Fred does an RFC Reunion.  That'll be fire!!! ;D
