My dude is NICE!!  I dig the Squib Cakes reference at the 0:45 second mark.  The way he dropped a beat at the end of a phrase was very Vinnie-esque.  He also has nice control of his traditional grip.

This shed session aughta be real nice.

...that's that boi "III".  He's been mentored by some of the greats man (Weckl, S. Emory, D. Chambers, David Garibaldi).  The "Traditional" is very nice and smooth indeed.  Third is a very cool cat man.  Great personality and his playing speaks for itself.  I just wish he and Sugarbear lived in O-town so SK, Jkay and myself can get it on and popping. ;D

...thanks for the clip "Praise".  I love watching this guy play.  Florida is coming up fam.

Sidenote:  Where is JD and what is he up to ?/?

You know, I actually hate to say this....but....

If I had never heard this guy's name, I would've sworn it was Vinnie Colaiuta. It's almost too obvious that he's been mentored by the elite, or spent a great deal of time studying their work. Nothing wrong with any of that, except it sounded as if he memorized a Vinnie solo that he transcribed.

However....

Dat Boi Badd! & He Doesn't Look A Day Older Than 23!  He & JD are definitely no strangers to the practice room. Lastly, my charge of lack of creativity may be only true in the case of this drum-off. Perhaps he wanted to go for the sure win, and felt it was wise to emulate some of drumming's Giants. In any case...

Props, indeed.

Yeah that boi is super nice!  You can definately hear his influences in his playing!  he had to have lost on creativity though cause everyother category was flawless!  I'll look for him on somebody's cd or tour real soon!

Third is a bad man and a really cool cat. i am glad someone finally got hold of a clip of him playing and posted it. I was starting to feel him to becoming an urban legend. I have had the privilage of seeing him pay on a couple of ocasions and he is a monster that can really rock!

He is around 23 Div....

I cannot wait to see Shed II DVD!
