Title: Help Please: Semi Tones
Post by: Christminded on July 22, 2004, 08:07:39 PM
I don't understand +semi tones higher or -semi tones lower on the Vanbasco's Karaoke Player that I downloaded. Does that mean up or down a certain amount of octaves?  :? This is such a  8)  player.

all that means is up or down a certain number of keys. Remember, there are 12 different notes on a keyboard. 1 semitone, is like going from C to Db, or D to Eb, or E to F. A half step is one semitone. In the vanbasco player, this is so you can hear a midi file in a different key if you wish.
