Need suggestions on a nice top for youth and young adult choir. We are planning to get black skirts and bottoms to offset the price of a whole outfit. We have been looking for the Tye Tribbett look, but can't find adult sized peter pan blouses. (We have found that other races are not as healthy as ours ;D) If anyone can help, please help. We are trying to do something different besides the old choir robe look. Yet something affordable for parents.

1st off, welcome to the LGM family!!
Second, where have you looked? Have you tried a uniform store?
Otherwise what we do with our youth choir, black or jean bottoms (skirts for the ladies) and button up shirts.

what works for the youth choir at my church is a solid-colored, polo style or button-down shirt. It's more youthful and affordable. Because we originally had some t-shirts but they weren't taken care of properly, and we looked a mess when we sang!!!

yeah that idea seems to work best using polos or button downs, they are affordable and youthful looking. I work with a group of college students who have formed a group and thats one of our looks. I am one who likes to allow the youth to embrace a little bit of their own style into their uniforms instead of making it so prim and proper. However the rule "DECENT AND ORDERLY" must be set. I think you would have better success with a polo or button-down shirt.
