Title: Why do cats downtalk one another?
Post by: HumbleGospelDrummer on March 28, 2007, 05:59:02 PM
I know alot of you witness this everyday, and you, me and alot of us are wonderin' why. it doesnt make sense to hate or downtalk another cat that's learnin' and are bein' molded into what they are tryin' to become........its like when you talk down and point one hand/finger at somebody,  the other one is pointing back at YOU, what goes around comes around.

I try to learn from each and every musician I see...good or not so good......We as experienced musicians need to take other musicians under our wings and teach them instead of putting them down because they dont have what we got...  ;)

I never understood this, either.  How can you be that good and be insecure about little ol' me that doesn't know a tenth of what you know?

I have been blessed, however, to be around some musicians locally who are very humble and helpful, but I've run into my share of the other kind, too.
