Title: Delta 10 10
Post by: chosen on April 04, 2007, 02:59:25 PM
Does any one have experience with the Delta 10 10 soundcard.  I am having a  problem, and I'm not sure how to fix it.

1.  when I record on track one it comes out fine.  Then when I move to the next track, it is re-recording what I did on the previous track.

WHAT RECORDING SOFTWARE ARE YOU USING.

I'M KINDA MIXED UP ON YOUR QUESTION.

ARE YOU SAYING THAT AFTER YOU'RE FINISH RECORDING YOUR FIRST TRACK, YOU SWITCH OVER TO TRACK #2 AND IT NEVER RECORDS  A NEW TRACK?

I'M REALLY CONFUSED CAN YOU CLARIFY WHAT YOUR SAYING PLEASE?

Umm yea you need to explain yourself a bit better... some possible problems i came up with..

1) in the software you are using, you forgot to "unarm" the first track before going on to the next track, so you record over your fresh material... or

2) On each track in your recording software, you haven't routed the correct inputs to each individual track, i.e. for each new track you create, the default recording input is probably input # 1 on the delta 1010... you would have to select another input for each new track, like input #2 to track 2, etc.

I own 4 delta 66 & 2 delta 2496... so I've had alot of experience with m-audio, lol... and sometimes they can be tricky to configure.

sorry for the confusion, but you were right.  I needed to change the inputs.
