If you read the liner notes, you'll see who played on the project. It does, however, state which track J Drew played on (and produced). :)

Drew played on like the last track of the album! He killed that, but I cant remember the name of the song he played on.... :-\

A Living Testimony.

It was either a brass Yamaha or a custom according to Jeremy whom gave us feedback on his snare arsenal a while back.
I am learning "Rejoice and Be Glad" now for church.

Is Jeremy endorsed by Yamaha? That tuning is nice... not too high and not too low....fits perfect into the music>>

jeremy is a beast with off tempo licks..i can do it a few times then after that..i might throw the whole church off cuzz i loose timing..so i got jump out then hurry up and jump in..jeremy just jumps out and keeps going, grabs a bite to eat then walks back and jumps in it again..wow..lol
-
...off tempo licks ?/?
...I don't think he goes off tempo. If he did, we wouldn't be listening to Jeremy on that CD. It would've been someone else. ;D
-
Ohh DH are you talkin' about that part in You Brought the sunshine/I Never Will when Jeremy did those off tempo licks on the snare? Them hats he used were crazy! Sounded like A series Special Recording Hats to me.. :-\..I may be wrong though..

...."odd time fills" ;D

Well, I was a the store listening to that album and a lady caught me making that face so I played it off like I was really smellin' somethin'....lol... ;D ::) :D...

LOLLLLLLL, i had a good laugh off of that one, i know what u talkin' about bruh........................rofl i'm laughin' so hard cuz a drummer from another church be makin' the ugliest faces when he play with the other musicians, im like, man is u sittin' on the throne or the toilet bruh?! :-\
-
I dont really make faces when Im on the kit but It mostly happens when I listen to music that I start to enjoy a little too much..lol... I think that our reactions to things we hear other musicians do whether it be on a album, at church, or whereever is just a way of expressin' how much we love music in general...I hope that made sense...lol... :) :-\

Ay bra, you just get saved a something, man you are late, but hey Jeremy Haynes is always cool to mention

DOES HE USE A DOUBLE-BASS AT ALL? THANKS A BUNCH!
:o TIGHTEST GROOVE :o
-
I dont know guys, I loved most of his playing on this one...There were some fills thats were in time but out of place or too bulky for where he chose to use it. I dont like the sound of his snare for this cd.. Ive heard it sound good on other cds but it was too bulky for this one. (In my opinion..LOL)

...that's the effect of that Emperor X. Now if he would've used the C.S. Coated Ambassador it would've been a different story.

Click Here (http://gospelchops.com/index-2.html) and select the Jeremy Haynes video lesson clip. Watch what he does towards the end. That should answer your question. ;)

Beat displacement is the term you are looking for Diligent-Hands. You can practice this by using the Syncopation exercises in Ted Reed's book Syncopation. Or if reading isn't your thing yet Pete Alexander demonstrates in his clips on GospelKeyboard (moving he accent around one hit at a time per beat?quarter note). As well Chris Coleman teaches it on his DVD.

I've really got to get that Syncopation book...
